 Re: competent cells Hi Abigeil21, I know I don't keep competent cells @ -20C. It should be -80C at least for longer storage. But be warn that competent cells don't usually remain competent (1 month competency is still good but less when time goes by.). Best to prepare FRESH. If you are afraid your method maybe not optimized maybe you can share with us your protocol.  |
