Default RNA isolation from Trichoderma


I have tried trizol method and qiagen plant mini kit for isolation of RNA from Trichoderma but I end up with no RNA. So anyone working on Trichoderma or any filamentous fungi please sort me out of this.

It could be something as basic as it's getting degraded. Are you using everything that's RNAse free? DEPC water? Sterile filter tips?
