| Hi, Does anyone know a way to slowdown/ inhibit translation in e.coli? I want to clone a gene in DH5alpha cells, but it seems to get expressed and it thereby kills my cells. hope someone can help me out! Thanks, VJ |

| Clone it into a vector with an inducable promotor - i.e. IPTG on. That way you can clone with the vector in an "off position", and then turn it on when you want the protein produced. |
