| I routinely use DMSO in my PCR reactions to aid in strand separation. Lately I've been having heaps of trouble with my cycle sequencing reactions with BigDye. I have not tried using DMSO in my sequencing reactions, but it seems to me that it could be useful. Does anybody use DMSO in their sequencing reactions? Or, any other similar additives like Betaine or BSA? Thanks for your help. |
