Default Chimera

Hi
i have one important question and that is i have to prepare a chimera of hepatitis B surface antigen in which i want to have the sequence of preS1, preS2 and the "a determinant" of the S region. so how can i prepare this chimera, as there is hundreds of nucleotide between preS2 and a determinant so how i can remove the central portion.
i hope you will guide me

regards
aftab

Hey Aftab,
this is a tough one. You need to check the motifs and domains of each section you want to use. I would make sure using some protein folding prediction domains that the joining (chimera) wont affect the secondary structure.

ie you can have the hepB SA to preS1 regions folding together if you have two hydrophobic domains
