| Hi.. There seems to be no problem with your protdist outfile. I pasted the matrix you gave in your first email into notepad and saved it as a text file and used it as input for Fitch on my windows XP system running phyllip. Fitch gave me a outfile and a OUTTREE files and it was as you mentioned "0 bytes". But that does not matter. I used DRAWTREE to open the file and it opened it well (inspite of the 0 bytes) and displayed a tree. I don't think it will open in treeview since it is not a recognised format. I have attached the bitmap output from drawtree.
