| We have been running Fragile X for about three years now on all the same equipment. Over the past two months we have seen our southern gels running very fast. We used to run the (0.8%) agarose gels 50V for 16-18 hours. Due to the increase in rate we have found that we can't run the gels for longer than 13hours. The display shows that the voltage is constant at 50V. We have tried new gel boxes, new power supplies, new buffer, new rooms, new outlets etc etc. Has anyone had similar issues? Or does anyone have any suggestions to troubleshoot? |
