Q: multiple bands on Quikchange

Dear molbio gurus,

I used PfuTurbo and PfuUltra for quikchange mutagenesis and got
different results. I have either a small band or a (correct)
large band with PfuUltra while PfuTurbo yields two bands with
similar sizes (probably larger one being the correct one?).

I uploaded the photo of my quikchange results.

What is the identity of those smaller bands?

Thanks in advance,

Woo

Mis-priming by one or more primers?

You appear to have an awful lot of dimers or primers in the reaction
looking at the very small band in the Turbo & Ultra2 photos?
