Default non-Amp cloning vector?

It seems that ampicillin has become the de facto selective agent for all
the cloning vectors in common use. Can anyone point me to anything else?
A multiple cloning site is a must, but that's it (though having B/W
selection wouldn't hurt). Many thanks.

You could try the pBC vectors from Stratagene (chloramphenicol selection).

Alternatively, check the cloning vector collection at
[Only registered users see links. ] ... it is a nice
repository for cloning vectors (provided free of charge for basic research).
