Default p53 antibody for western blot of mouse tissue !!

I am looking for a good p53 antibody that will give me clean results with
mouse tissue samples. The current one we are using gives dubious results.

I will appreciate if anyone, based on his/her experience of using a good p53
antibody would recommend it to me. Any additional tipps will be appreciated.

Thanks

Try chicken antibodies from [Only registered users see links. ] as these have good reactivity
with mouse and rat as well as human.

It depends on the antibody!
Usually the supplier indicates, whether it has a cross-species affinity (and how strong it then is) or not. As a rule of thumbs: human AB have no (or maximally a few %) affinity for rodent antigens.
