| >Dear Sean, Interesting suggestion, and I have considered it in the past in the context of quantitation. Given the number of different proteins that I measure, it would be difficult to achieve on a regular basis. I have done this with my latest blot. My washes are 5x5 minutes with PBS/Tween (0.2% v/v). The transfers are usually done for 2 hours, and I often check the progress on the readouts. I have used several different power supplies. I've done that too. Not always, but I do always stain/destain the membrane with Ponceau S to confirm transfer. Thanks for the suggestions Sean --- |
