Bionet posting (problems w/ chemiluminescence)
Interesting suggestion, and I have considered it in the past in the
context of quantitation. Given the number of different proteins that
I measure, it would be difficult to achieve on a regular basis.
I have done this with my latest blot.
My washes are 5x5 minutes with PBS/Tween (0.2% v/v).
The transfers are usually done for 2 hours, and I often check the
progress on the readouts.
I have used several different power supplies.
I've done that too. Not always, but I do always stain/destain the
membrane with Ponceau S to confirm transfer.
Thanks for the suggestions
