Hello Moria,

welcome to the forums!

This is usually caused by dirty gel electrophoresis glass plates or cracked / scratched surface (check plates before use).

I clean mine like this:

1) use plenty of soap and brush

2) brush glass plates well

3) Use ethanol spray glass plates then wipe clean

Ready to use stick free!

Hi
good suggestion by Kiki
well yes it is due to rough surface, so try to use new glass plates and if you have older ones then wash them properly after use and before use wash them with ethanol and then clean them with lint free paper.

regards
aftab
