Desalting and Proteomics:

I have found a new method for desalting from Pierce....

very good for small volumes.

I prefer to use a centrifugation ultrafiltration column... faster... desalts and concentrate..

Hi!

Thanks for the link . Protea Biosciences' LithTips are another great method for desalting and concentrating protein samples. They are functionalized pipette tips with low back pressure that allow for fast processing. LithTips, like the dialysis units, are also useful when working with small volumes! I hope this is useful!
