Default extraction buffer solidifies on ice


hello
i prepare extraction buffer for proteins and when i keep it on ice it solidified,i think urea crystalizes but before this it never happened.i am using 8M urea.
what could be the reason

You're right, it crystallizes at low temperatures. Use Urea at or near room temperature.
