If i was considering a career in this field what classes should I take and what schools (if you know any in the U.S.) would be good to go to.

Default Re: A career in proteomics?

I have a mid-level career (the pay sucks) in proteomics, but my boss does very well.
His resume boasts:
Chemistry BS (emphasis on analytical chemistry)
PhD Biochemistry

From my point of view, Molecular Biology major, analytical chemistry was the fundamental thing missing from my background.
