Protein analysis Hi i want to analyze all the proteins from bacterial and yeast cells, so what is best enzymatic way to lyse the cells to isolate all the proteins. i know we can lyse the cells by physical ways as sonication, Frech press and many otheres but i want to use a chemical method to isolate the protiens, so if some one has an idea then plz do send me the procedure regards aftab |
Re: Protein analysis It all depends whether you want your protein active or not. If you want activity , you can use freeze and thaw; lysozyme with SDS, KOH with SDS; etc. but it may take a long time and lysis may not be complete! The extraction of membrane proteins involves some harsh treatments! So chose your proteins first and select an appropriate method or balance by trial and error by a combination like enzyme + freeze & thaw or with detergents. |
Re: Protein analysis When all the protein analysis then you realize its very good for your health and its make to your body strong and gain to the body and improve day b day, i also use protein and realize that its is good for gaining the body and helpful. |
