 !0% Ammonium persulfate problems I've tried dissolving 0.1g APS in 1ml of distilled/autoclaved water. I then made 100ul aliquots. The solution in the vials will not freeze at -20C for a week and 50% of the gels will not polymerize. I've tried two different bottles of APS. On the half that polymerize, no banding occurs after staining. Does anyone have any suggestions?  |
