| I just ran a SDS-Gel Electrophoresis and I have smeared bands... is this due to high voltage / temperature / or just band gel composition or sample buffer? thanks in advance |

| One place to look for your answer would be the [Only registered users see links. ]. This site has pictures of bad SDS-PAGE gels and explains what the problems were. You can look for a gel that looks like yours for your answer. Otherwise, it's hard to troubleshoot your gel without being able to see it. If you post the image, maybe someone will have some ideas. |
