Unhappy Dialysis for Buffer Exchange?

Hi,
can i use dialysis to exchange one buffer for another?
will i loose my small kda protein in there? i am scared please help

Yes it is possible. Normally the ions like potassium, sodium, chloride just should go through the membran during the dialysis.

First of all losing your protein or not depends on cutoff of your dialysis tube. If you protein at the same range or smaller than cut off of your dialysis, ya certainly you will lose it.
about changing buffer, it is quit possible.
