Question Hydrophobic Protein Interactions

Hello,
does anyone know how to break hydrophobic interactions between two proteins?

What could I use to dismantle the bond?
thanks
Kiki

Use non-ionic or zwitterionic detergents or bile salts or maybe sulfobetaines.

anything that is more prone in getting the previous bonds to a lower energy level should help you get rid of the hydrophobic bonds you want to dismantle. the above substances mentioned by danfive are the popular ones.... but do go for a check regarding the quantities before getting to a conclusion.
