extraction of collagen I from cells

I am looking for a protocol that will effectively extract collagen I from uterine smooth muscle cells grown in culture. My goal is to collect both the pro-collagen and mature collagen from the cells as well as the collagen that becomes attached to the plastic dish during culturing. Does anyone have a suggestions on how to approach this? Thanks!
