Default Protein Quantification

Hello!
For protein quantification I wanted to use the 2D-Quant Kit (GE), but had some problems with it. There is one thing I really cannot explain: How can I get several totally different protein concentrations by using just different dilutions of my protein solution?? Does anyone exist who also uses this kit? Or what`s your favoured method for protein quantification?

Default Re: Protein Quantification

Perhaps the absorbance range of your dilution series does not fall within the standards' range. Or the sample dilution may also be diluting detergents, buffer salts, etc., that may make a difference. I usually use a 1:20 dilution and don't have any problems. I always prefer protein kits from Pierce like the protein microassay.
