Default protein extraction



respected all
i want to extract the total protein from the hard seeds of Xylocarpus granatum for SDS-PAGE electrophoresis. the seeds of this plant are hard. i could not get the protocol, so please help me.

Try boiling the seed in an eppendorf tube until is soft, then homogenize it. Dilute the homogenate in buffer and add SDS-PAGE loading buffer and you should see something on the gel.
