glycoprotein staining

Hello everybody,
I am looking on glycoprotein staining method. I have tried
thymol-sulfuric acid staining and PAS staining. PAS seems to be working
fine, but too much cumbersome. I tried to do thymol-sulf. acid staining
but i was not getting gel stained at all. If anybody having an idea
about the protocol please let me know.

There is a commercial product available called StainsAll, which is
suitable for glycoproteins too. Efforts for staining by the PAS method
can be reduced by first blotting the protein, this saves on the time all
the solutions need to penetrate the gel.
