Default Bradford Protein Assay in membrane crystals

Another alternative: get rid of lipids while keeping the proteins dissolved:
extract your goo with butanol (20%v/v,a standard method for membrane protein
purification).
The supernatant n-butanol will have most of the lipids. The
butanol-saturated water phase is good for Bradford.
