| Wow, this might be my chance! Yes, there is a reference I happen to remember: Schwabe, T. M., Gloddek, K., Schluesener, D. and Kruip, J., Purification of recombinant BtpA and Ycf3, proteins involved in membrane protein biogenesis in Synechocystis PCC 6803. J Chromatogr B Analyt Technol Biomed Life Sci, 2003. 786(1-2): p. 45-59 :-) Actually we did it the way DK suggested, by a gradient from 6M to 0M urea at RT. It was easy for the first protein and gave very good results, protein #2 didn't like it, but this one was more hydrophobic... There is also an application manual from Amersham (should belong to their ÄKTA series), which has a procedure about this. Tatjana [Only registered users see links. ] wrote: |
