| Hi, Does anyone of you know if it is possible to (pre-scan) screen a crystal to see if it is a DNA-protein complex crystal or just merely a protein crystal. I've tried to make DNA-protein complex crystal, but it seems like the DNA component is missing from the electron density map of my collected data. Please advise if you know of any method to scan a crystal (before actual full data collection) so that I will know if the crystal formed is a complex or just pure protein crystal. Thanks! Dash |
