| Hi All, I'm currently doing a phd in plant molecular biology, but would probably like to move over to working on yeast when I go on to do a postdoc. Does anyone have experience of this sort of change of field? Is it feasible? Cheers, jdp |

| Hi. I'm also working on a PhD in plant molecular biology. My supervisor tells me many of techniques you pick up during this type of PhD will carry through to related fields. If you're enthusiastic enough, i don't see why you couldn't work with Yeast. |
