Google is spending 10 million dollars to use energy from Molten Lava
under the earth 10 Km deep.

If we keep drilling hole in earth we will meet lava at 10 Km deep.

With that hole allow all earth lava to come out as a volcano? Will
there be volvano eruption if we dig a hole of 10 km deep?

Google is digging 10 Km hole and using the heat energy of lava to
generate electricity. And it says It is cheaper than energy from coal?
Google spending 10 million dollars on this project. It says 2% of Lava
has so much energy that it can give Energy Power to whole world for
2500 Years.

If a big hole is dug till Lava is found will it not create a volcanic
Erruption? Can that energy be easily regulated?

If we use 2% of the energy present in lava will it be dangerous for
environment? Will new earthquakes appear?

Why is earth core in molten state is it due to high pressure because
of earth gravity?

Bye
Sanny

All magma, no. Rock is one of those things that gets less dense when
it cools, but not all magma is more dense than the local rock, and
local rock is occasionally under enough of a load that magma can still
squirt.

Maybe.

Don't need a hole nearly that deep to get energy from the core.

Once you form the hole, and figure what to do with the contaminants
that such a system picks up, maybe.

With a cold core when they are done? Not sure that is feasible, nor a
good idea, given that free flowing magma may have a strong effect on
maintaining our "Van Allen belts", which net deliver solar wind
constituents to the Earth.

Not necessarily.

We melt rock all the time *in the small*. "Easily" maybe not.
Technologically possible, probably. Fail safe... we will see.

*Energy* no problem. The stuff that is in the magma besides "stone"
could be more greenhouse gasses.

If they vent magma, assuredly, the effects would be felt worldwide.
But over 2500 years, if it never got out of control, know one coudl be
sure it was because of them.

No. It is hot because it is well insulated by the crust (and
atmosphere) with heat from the initial coalescense of the planet, and
because there is undoubtedly fission occuring in the element of which
the core is composed. Note that the Moon has a *very* thick crust,
but still has a fluid core.

Interesting, to think of all the power, beyond geo-thermal available
by taping into the lava heat itself, not only for energy but also for
melting about anything or super-heating things.

It will cost them more than that to file the environmental impact
reports, fight the lawsuits from "environmentalist" Luddites, and
bribe politicians, before they can even START drilling.

Look how much money has been spent trying to dig a small hole in
Nevada under Yucca Mountain to put uranium *back into* the ground.
