| Just an Idea I had after the neighbor's dogs spent the entire 4th of July weekend barking 24/7.(Owners on vacation). I have read that there are "emitters" which create sound at above 20,000 Hz which are used in conjunction with a microphone and electronics to train dogs NOT to bark. When they bark, a loud tone is generated which the dog finds painful. I haven't found such a device but would rather construct one anyway. Any ideas where I might find plans for this? Thanks- Sleepless in L.A. |

| Dear BrianAlex: "BrianAlex" <[Only registered users see links. ]> wrote in message news:[Only registered users see links. ]... I bought one of those. After a couple of days, they ignore them. They don't find them painful, so much as annoying and surprising. Annoyance you can get used to, and so can dogs. And the surprise wears off. David A. Smith |

Seriously, though, you probably have all you need right on front of you, microphone, computer, loudspeakers - the rest is software. Keywords "ultrasound" or "ultrasonic" "transducer" |
