Dear God's Creator:

A plasma, as in nucleii with one or more electrons stripped away.
Makes it easier to fuse those nucelii too.

As single nucleii, anything that glows with its own light is
something that has sites that were once ionized. Not really a
plasma, though...

Beyond that, a fluorescent light is a very diffuse plasma,
interior to the glass envelope.

Additionally, controlled fusion reactions are man-made in a
similar way to that of the Sun, but only very briefly, and not as
dense.

Plasma torches are used to cut metal. They are not as dense as
the Sun, although they can get hotter than the *surface* of the
Sun.

We get to about the same temperature (interior temperature) and
about as dense as the Sun with hydrogen bombs. For a nanosecond
or less.

The Sun is primarily hydrogen, with successive amounts of heavier
elements formed as time moves on.
