Science for the masses are much like children's books, they're written
for general comprehension and enjoyment at the expense of precision.
There's nothing there to improve, given their mission. But if you
insist, submit your handiwork to the publishers as they're the only
ones in the world who might have a valid concern. OTOH it probably
wouldn't alter sales to advertise "someone from usenet improved our
definition of weight--buy the latest and greatest version!!!!!",
