I currently have for sale the following old physics-related books. Postage
within the US is $2.50 for the first book, and $1 for each additional item
(Media Mail; postage at cost elsewhere). The books are:

Ferry, Ervin S. "General Physics and Its Application to Industry and Everyday
Life" John Wiley & Sons, 1925. Second edition. The 807 page hardbound book is
in good condition. There are pencil notes on some pages, and the burgundy cloth
covers are spotted and discolored, but everything is tight and secure. A nice
early physics text. Available for $5.

Sullivan, Walter "Black Holes, The Edge of Space, The End of Time" Anchor
Press/Doubleday, 1979. The 303 page hardbound book is in very good condition,
fresh and clean inside and out. The dust jacket is in about very good
condition, with a few small tears along the edges. An interesting look at the
discovery and physics of black holes. Available for $5.

Hoffmann, Banesh "The Strange Story of the Quantum" Dover Publications, 1959.
Second edition. The 285 page softbound book is in very good condition, clean
with no page tears or pen marks. "An account for the general reader of the
growth of the ideas underlying our present atomic knowledge." Available for $6.

Phillips, Leon F. "Electronics for Experimenters in Chemistry, Physics, and
Biology" John Wiley & Sons, 1967. Second edition. The 266 page softbound book
is in about very good condition. Internals are clean with no page tears or pen
marks. Covers show a bit of wear from age, but not bad at all. Available for
$6.

Jameson, Joseph M. "Elementary Practical Mechanics" John Wiley, 1921. Second
edition. The 321 page hardbound book is in very good condition, clean with no
page tears or pen marks except for a previous owners name inside the front
cover. A nice older physics book on mechanics. Available for $6.

Shapley, Harlow "Source Book in Astronomy 1900-1950" Harvard University Press,
1960. The 423 page hardbound book is in very good condition, clean with no page
tears or pen marks. A collection of 69 selections by scientists such as
Einstein and others who cover the development of astronomy. Available for $6.

O'Shea, Donald C. (Editor) and Donald C. Peckham (Editor) "Lasers: Selected
Reprints" American Association of Physics Teachers, 1982. The 139 page
softbound book is in very good condition, clean inside and out. A collection of
papers on the topic of Lasers. Available for $6.

Schwinger, Julian (Editor) "Selected Papers on Quantum Electrodynamics" Dover
Publications, 1958. The 424 page softbound book is in very good condition,
clean with no page tears or pen marks except for a previous owners name inside
the front cover. A collection of 34 selected papers by leading physicists from
the 1920's - 1940's. Available for $8.

Semat, Henry "Introduction to Atomic and Nuclear Physics" Rinehart & Company,
1958. Third edition. The 561 page hardbound book is in very good condition,
clean with no page tears or pen marks, and a strong binding. Available for $9.

Dixon, Robert T. "Dynamic Astronomy" Prentice-Hall, 1971. The 368 page
hardbound book is in very good condition, clean with no page tears or pen
marks, but with some foxing on the pages from age. A college level text
intended for students with little prior background in science. Available for
$7.

Smith, William V.; and Peter P. Sorokin "The Laser" McGraw-Hill, 1966. The 498
page hardbound book is in very good condition, clean with no page tears or pen
marks except for a previous owners name inside the front cover. The dust jacket
is in very good condition as well. Available for $8.

Hines, C.O.; I. Paghis, T.R. Hartz, and J.A. Fejer (editors) "Physics of the
Earth's Upper Atmosphere" Prentice-Hall, 1965. The 434 page hardbound book is
in very good condition. It is an ex-library copy from a corporate library, with
a card pouch inside the rear cover, and the usual stamps and stickers.
Otherwise in nice condition. The text provides a broad view of the subject.

Hodgman, Charles D. "Handbook of Chemistry and Physics, A Ready-Reference Book
of Chemical and Physical Data, 25th Edition, 1941" Chemical Rubber Company,
1941. The 2503 page hardbound book is in very good condition, clean with no
page tears or pen marks, and a strong binding. Brown cloth covers over flexible
boards, covers show a bit of wear from age, but not bad at all. A nice early
vintage copy of this classic text on chemistry and physics reference data
Available for $15.

Stacey, Weston M. Jr. "Modal Approximations, Theory and an Application to
Reactor Physics" MIT Press, 1967. The 122 page hardbound book is in very good
condition, fresh and clean inside and out, in a very good dust jacket.
Published as MIT Research Monograph No. 41. Available for $10.

Beyer, Robert T. (Compiler) "Foundations of Nuclear Physics, Facsimiles of
Thirteen Fundamental Studies as They Were Originally Reported in the Scientific
Journals" Dover Publications, 1949. The 272 page hardbound book is in very good
condition, clean with no page tears or pen marks except for a previous owners
name inside the front cover. Dust jacket is in good condition, with a few chips
along the edges. Includes a 100+ page bibliography. Available for $12.

Parke, Nathan Grier III "Guide to the Literature of Mathematics and Physics
Including Related Works on Engineering Science" Dover Publications, 1958. The
436 page softbound book is in very good condition, clean with no page tears or
pen marks except for a gift inscription, signed by the author, inside the front
cover. Available for $15.
