| Hi everybody. I am just starting a PHYSICS course and I have been asked to research the following questions. However my search has come up with nothing. Could someone please help me out with these questions which are the only ones I cannot do PLEASE GIVE OBJECT AND SIZE: (in brackets are answers to previous questions which relate to these ones) 1) A distance which is greater than the Sun to Pluto (5.913 x 10^6m) 2) A distance which is smaller than that of a typical atom (1 x 10^-1m) 3) Something heavier than the mass of the sun (2 x 10^30 KG) 4) Something lighter than the mass of a proton (1.673 x 10^-27 KG) 5) What is the fastest and smallest speed an object can move at? 6) What is the highest and lowest temperature and object can reach? The last two confuse me as it varies from object to object. Thanks Oli |

| "Oli M" <[Only registered users see links. ]> wrote in message news:WhK2b.1135$[Only registered users see links. ].net... research the Could ones I It doesn't sound like a course you need to be enrolled in, if you can't find any information on it anywhere.. either it's a scam or you need to take a more basic course. Be that as it may, this forum is not for people to do your homework for you. Go to your instructor and ask for a clarification of the assignment first. |

You should be able to use a search engine on the web (such as [Only registered users see links. ] or [Only registered users see links. ]) to research these questions, but here's a start: 1. The Earth to Alpha Centauri, ~ 4.28 light years 2. Diameter of a Quark, ~ 10^-13 centimeters 3. Mass of Milky Way Galaxy, ~ 10^12 * Mass of our Sun 4. A Neutrino, ~ 1x10^-8 mass of an electron 5. Fastest: An object with mass can not attain or exceed the speed of light; Slowest: None 6. Lowest, Absolute Zero: 0 deg. Kelvin or -273.15deg.C; Highest, None |
