Default How do C and N terminal ends react with each other in the joining of 2 peptides?

In the joining of two peptides to form a polypeptide, the N-terminal end of one peptide will react with the _______ of the other peptide forming a(n) _______.

a. C-terminal end, ether linkage
b. N-terminal end, peptide linkage
c. C-terminal end, peptide linkage
d. C-terminal end, quaternary structure

Any help would be appreciated! I read this section in my book but I am still having some trouble understanding it. Any explanation would be great because I want to know how to do this for my test. Thanks for the help!
