Default Can peptides, yeast extract and sodium chloride be autoclaved?

Can I sterilize peptides, yeast extract and sodium chloride that I intend to use for growing E.coli by autoclaving them? or is/are there other methods?

Hola Yes, in fact lb medium has these components and it sterilized with all components together. Different case is when your medium has sugars or some Mg or Ca salts that have to be sterilized separatelly and after it mixed. other more expensive method is ultrafiltration across 0.22um, it is used for cell culture media. One more thing there are some articles about sterilize with microwawe oven. Buena suerte
