Peptide Sequence Sysnthesis - Reproducibility?
 

Hi folks,
I make the same peptide sequence multiple times moving the placement of a Cys every synthesis. I notice that my peptides lately have been giving really poor results. The HPLC gives one single peak which is about 8-10 aa long. Previously I was only seeing one peak also but it was full length (23aa).
Let me know if anyone has any suggestions?
My resin and reagents are the same. I decreased the activator (HBTU) to about .45M and it helped a bit.
