Default solution phase solubility problem

I'm completely new to soln phase, but I need to try it due to the TFA instability of AA2.
Here's the deal: I made a batch of acetylProline(AA1) and I want to activate it and attach to AA2, which is DON (6 diazo 5 oxo norleucine) AA2 is insoluble in DMF, DMSO, NMP etc., and the lit. says its' only soluble in water, EtOH and MeOH.
What to do? I've activated acPro ok(HATU, diea), but since AA2 is insoluble, now what? I hope this isn't too off topic. Anybody got any ideas?
Thanx

Actually, once your acPro is in the activated ester form, that ester should half a pretty decent half life in aqueous solutions (about 40 minutes). So you can dissolve aa2 in a buffer or water, and couple that solution directly into your activated ester solution.
