Default Re: The formation of a peptide bond involves...?

a)Creation or syntheisis of a water molecule

one hydrogen of the amino (-NH2) group of one amino acid and the -OH of the carboxylic acid group of another amino acid form a water molecule thus a peptide bond (-CONH) is formed
