Methods for storing uncompleted peptide synthesis

Hey Guys, i ve had a problem with synthesizing long peptides[15-20 mers] as they cannot be synthesized in a day and needs to be kept over night before i can start again with the synthesis. Any suggestion as to how can i store the uncomplete peptide overnight?
what i used to do was dry the peptide in vacuum, but this may cause collapsing of the peptide,
is it a good idea to leave the peptide in minimal DCM overnight?

I think you need not dry the resin. Just leave them there and start coupling the next day

As long as it is in DMF or DCM it will be stable. But if an automated synthesis stops at the activation or the deprotection step, this may cause problems.

Stop the synthesis before the deprotection step. You can dry NMP of DMF whatever you use. Put the resin in the fridge at 4 C. The next day wash the resin with NMP or DMF en then start the synthesis.
