Default Handling Peptides - Tips

Dissolving Peptides - Peptide Reconstitution

Companies and peptide synthesis facilities supply peptides in serum vials as dry, fluffy, freeze-dried pellets.

Storing Peptides

Peptides are stored in a freezer after you have received them. This can be in a -20 C freezer or a - 80 C freezer preferrably.

Dissolving Peptides

10% acetic acid is usually used for positively charged peptides

10% ammonium bicarbonate solution is used for negatively charged peptides

Acetonitrile, DMSO, DMF, or isopropanol can also be used to dissolve peptides
