Default Can C-peptide level go up?very important?

I am diabetic,type 2 for a year,I am 17 and not overweight(1.70m,52kg).I took a C-peptide test today.The normal range is 0.350-1.60 and my level is 0.330.It was 0.70 before.Can I recover my C-peptide or it's lost for good?I would really appreciate a useful answer.Thanx!
