| Hi everyone, I have a question about the analysis of results for relative gene expression. I'm looking to compare the relative expression levels of 3 different genes within the same sample and use GAPDH as the housekeeping gene (I don't have a reference sample). However, I have a large number of samples which means I'll be running 1 gene/plate. My question is can I set the same threshold level (the line used for Ct calculation) for all the genes? They are all taqman probes and have the same reporter dye. For example, if 1 plate with gene A has a threshold of 0.2, can I set the same 0.2 threshold for gene B and gene C in the other plates? |
