| I have an issue with my current GC-rich PCR. The protocol requires that I use a high grade DMSO, which I believe I used (Sigma Hybri-Max DMSO). I haven't achieved much when using it. I did however try another DMSO that's labeled as "performance certified" or "cell-culture" certified. Whatever it is, I achieve much better results when using it. Unfortunately I don't have large quantities of it since I ordered 4 batches of the Hybri-Max DMSO seeing it being used in a previous protocol. I'm curious, is it possible to achieve the same quality of the "performance certified" DMSO if I increase the DMSO percentage of my current reaction with my lower grade DMSO. Has anyone tried this? |
