Default which real time PCR do you recommend??

For our lab we think about a purchase of a new Real Time PCR Machine.
After gathering some information about what the market of Real Time PCR machines offers, we’re not really sure what Real Time PCR machine might be the best choice for us. Basically we want to improve our processes in our projects and get better and faster results of our choice.

Thanks!!!

Default Re: which real time PCR do you recommend??

I can't advise you which one you should buy, but I can advise you which one not not to buy. Don't buy the Qiagen Rotor Gene, which is definitly great in many aspect but it's not very practical for high throughput. Try to find also some information about the Droplet PCR System (I've heard about it from Bio-Rad, not sure if other companies have any similar system), I think it might eventually solve out many of the issues of qPCR (if that's what you're interested in)
