ARMS PCR problems
I am using ARMS PCR for amplification of a 128 base pair fragment and a 400 bp internal control. both are amplifying at 58 degrees separately, but when run together, only the 128bp fragnment gets amplified, the internal control does not. what could be the problem and how can it be rectified?

[Only registered users see links. ] Arms-PCR Protocols thumbnail DNA double helix PCR--polymerase chain reaction--revolutionized the world of forensic science by making it possible to amplify minuscule amounts of DNA for identification. In 1993 the Nobel Committee awarded the Nobel Prize in Chemistry to the inventor of PCR, Kary Mullis.
