Will MTT interfere with DNA assays?

So I have some cells, prokaryotic and eukaryotic, stained with MTT. I now want to perform PCR testing on these cells, and possibly whole genome sequencing. Anyone have any idea if the MTT formazan will interfere with these assays? Thanks.
