Default Why use PCR to analyze DNA?


I don't understand why making more copies of something makes it easier to analyze?

PCR doesn't analyze DNA it just amplify more copy of it. I would say (to my knowledge) that we need more copies of target DNA coz most of the analysis method require DNA to be that much...

It is easier to manipulate larger volumes and amounts of DNA in such analyses like sequencing, restriction, cloning etc.
