| I just had a demo for the 3M integrated cycler yesterday. It looks like we're going to pick it up for infectious disease diagnosis and use a LightCycler 480 for the genetic side of RT-PCR. My question is, since the 3M device is so new, I can't find anyone who is using it. Does anyone have any feelings one way or another toward the device? They are the first FDA approved EUA for H1N1 and the medical director would like that up and running ASAP. If anyone has any insight into the validation process I would love to hear it. TIA. Right now I'm referencing Espy et al (2006) Clinical Microbiology Reviews and NCCLS (2002) EP12-A2. |
