I need this info because I am writing an SOP (standard of operating procedure) for a PCR---polymerase chain reactant.

Thanks

My standard PCR reaction mix is as follows (per sample):

Molecular Biology grade water - 10.9 microlitres
PCR buffer with MgCl (10x) - 2.5 microlitres
Forward primer - 2.5 microlitres
Reverse primer - 2.5 microlitres
Taq polymerase - 0.1 microlitres
dNTPs - 0.5 microlitres
Template DNA - 2 microlitres

(FYI - it's polymerase chain reaction not reactant)

Hope that's ok, if you need any more help just drop me an email :-)

Tilly
